When plugged in, this factory KTM ABS dongle enables additional features in the ABS control unit that can make life with the 790 Duke so much better. See below.
- ABS mode 1: The ABS function is active on the front wheel only (single channel ABS). The rear wheel can lock at any time without engaging the ABS braking. (the ABS bulb will flash every 5 seconds)
- ABS mode 2: ABS is switched off. The front and rear wheels can lock at any time without engaging the ABS braking. (the ABS bulb will flash evenly)
IMPORTANT!
ABS mode 1 is automatically activated when the dongle is inserted
THIS DONGLE DOES NOT SAVE ABS SELECTION.
After the ignition is switched off and back on, the bike will automatically revert to ABS mode 1 "Supermoto" if the dongle is connected
