NEW! 'Push and Pull' Dynojet shift module! Now switch back and forth between standard and reversed (GP) shift with the same shift sensor.
NEW: Plug and Play Quick Shift kit for the RC 390! (Select below)
Finally!, a quick shifter setup that is purpose built for the KTM Super Duke 990/1290 or RC8! Until now, the consumer would have to hunt down all the bits and pieces themselves to make this unit work, and probably employ a machinist to get it done right. Not anymore. Rottweiler Performance has done it all for you. We have found all the pieces, threaded the parts and set it all up ready to go. Just select 'Plug and Play' and style wanted below and we will include all the pieces for you at an adjusted rate for the additional parts.
The Dynojet Quick Shifter is the key component to full wide open clutch-less up-shifts. By integrating with your existing Powercommander V unit, the quick shifter switch replaces your stock shift linkage (See kits below for full plug and play choices) and simply plugs right into your PCV. With just a couple minutes of setup, (See our screenshot setup photos) you are now able to enact buttery smooth clutch-less up shifts in mere split seconds at 100% throttle. 65 thousands of a second to be precise. And this is not only for racing, but also pure riding enjoyment as you can spend less time worrying about timing a shift and getting that 'head bump' from your passenger and more time on what you are doing. Whether it be sightseeing or track racing at blistering speeds, the Dynojet quick shifter is an easy and fun addition that almost feels like cheating.
How does it work? The Dynojet quick shifter easily integrates into the PCV unit with only two wires and once 'enabled' (See setup pics), will cut fuel delivery from your fuel injectors for around 65 milliseconds. The cut times are fully adjustable for your style and speed of shifting and basically 'free up' the transmission at the exact same time you are pulling on the shift cam for the next gear. This requires more of a 'pull through' type of shift rather than a 'flick' of the lever. This is why many racers reverse the shifting on their bikes (Called GP Shift Pattern) so that they can 'stomp' the shifter to shift up, but when used in the normal pattern of 'up for up', still works extremely well. There is NO cutting or splicing of wires. This is fully plug and play.
Adjustments that can be made:
Does this harm my transmission? Absolutely not. In many ways it can be smoother on your transmission as shifts are timed absolutely perfectly. With that said, you, the user, must take full responsibility for any changes you make to your motorcycle. We have personally used these for years with no issues whatsoever and similar units come stock on some exotic bikes.
Note (Aftermarket rear-sets): The Dynojet Quick Shifter sensor is only 1.08mm larger on the radius than the stock hex rod. What this means is that if you have an aftermarket rear set or reversed shifter, all you need to know is if there is at least 1.08mm clearance between the stock hex rod and whatever is next to it, that the length is around 120mm +/- center to center on the rod ends and if shifting UP is 'PUSH' or 'PULL' in order to choose the correct unit.
How do I choose?

I have been running this quick shifter since it was released on this site and love it. Not problems and fast shifts all the way up the gears. Now if only someone made an autoblipper :-)

Easy and fast to install. My first QS and it works great. Very smooth gear changes.

The quick shifter completely changed the 1290. This is the first quick shifter I have bought and installed and it really changed things. In stock form, the 1290 is tough to be smooth through the gears..... but with the Quick Shifter, I feel like a pro going through the gears and the bike gets to speed a lot smoother.
