The long awaited Rottweiler Performance System for the Husqvarna 701 is finally here, and built with the only tools we have at our disposal; QUALITY and POWER.
Starting with our proven KTM 690 Enduro recipe that has received critical acclaim for power, ease of service and extra space, we ported our induction knowledge into the big single and created this intake with our signature power producing filter elements. But we didn’t stop there. We reshaped the intake tract with our proven ‘Tuned Velocity Stack’ design in order to maximize intake tract length and velocity. We even added a clever little detail to the outside of the bell-mouth of the velocity stack that keeps water out, and only the good stuff in: CLEAN AIR.
Add tool free removal and incredibly simple access to the intake tract and what you have left over is a 701 that guarantees to add the smiles to your miles.
Fuel Mapping Questions: A PCV is not required on the 701 for 'safe fueling' when simply bolting on this product. As tested completely stock the AFR (Air Fuel Ratios) values stayed well within safe limits across the RPM range. A PCV is simply the key to achieve full control over fueling for better or maximum performance, power and the ability to switch maps easily, use Auto Tune for 'dynamic mapping' or install a quick shifter. Think of a PCV as a 'jetting kit' for fuel injection that will offer even more functions. To learn more, click here.
In this complete 'step by step' video Chris shows you everything you will need to know when installing a Rottweiler Intake on your KTM 690 Enduro. The video is detailed, but the install is easier than you would think.
This product carries a 1 year warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship.

I've installed this on my 701 enduro and it's amazing how clunky it makes the stock intake system seem. It saves space so you can install the Rottweiler bag. It reduces weight and it increases HP! What is there not to like? Get it already!

This is an awesome setup, my bike now runs as advertised, great bottom end, tones of grunt, power wheelies like crazy but controllable. I don't understand some peoples comments about excessive noise. The only time I hear it is when I'm hard on the throttle and then the air box noise is the least of my concerns. Now that I have experienced it, I wouldn't want to ride my Husky without it.

I just installed this intake on my 2017 701 enduro. It was easy to fit and made a decent amount of power compared to the standard air box with a high flow filter. I did some back to back tests on the dyno and all I can say is its worth the money.
Custom mapping with the power commander is the next step and should give even better performance and optimize the air/fuel ratios smoothing out some of the righ and lean spots.
Only thing I would like is some better quality filter skins.

I only have about 100 miles of use so far but am very impressed with it so far. I haven't added the mapping option but still see a definite increase in power and smoothness through out the RPM range. I don't have enough miles yet to see how it will effect fuel economy. I purchased this before Rottweiler had updated their instruction to include specific Husky 701 details so it took a little longer to figure out some of the installation process.
There is more intake noise than the stock air box but i didn't find it annoying. one of the big benefits of this system is the amount of space that it opens up over the engine. If you are going to add any electrical accessories the will be easy access for wiring and components.
At this point I highly recommend this product for the Husky 701.
