The answer to the limiting exhaust valve is here. The 2017+ KTM Super Duke 1290 R and 16+ Super Duke GT both contain a flapper valve in the exhaust system that can make things extremely difficult when wanting to install the aftermarket exhaust of their choice. Even worse, if you attempt to remove the servo and cables from the bike physically, the computer will realize this through it's series of checks when the bike is keyed on and put it into a limp mode which will not allow the rider to accelerate past 6000 RPM.
With our billet aluminum 'Servo Stopper', you can remove all of the cables and valve from the system by simply installing this small device that fools the servo when going through it's initial checks that the cables are still attached and everything is functioning perfectly.
Now you are free to install the exhaust system of your choice! (Click the link to see what is available)
Note: The 2017 Super Duke 1290 WILL work with the current and past models of exhaust systems. While the muffler mount was moved rearward, they simply made a new passenger peg for that and the 13-16 threaded mount location is still on that bike and available for use on the 2017 Super Duke R with pre 2017 exhaust systems that used that mount. Low mounted shorty exhausts do not need this mount at all.

This product provides a simple solution when you install a cat delete. Takes less than 10 minutes to install and works everytime. Just make sure you dont turn the shaft on the servo when installing this product. We turned it 180 degrees will removing the original pulley and the bike wouldn't perform the test on start up. This caused the bike to go into limp mode. Lesson learned

This device installs easy once you manage to get the cover off the servo motor. No codes and no issues.

After changing the exhaust on my 2018 superduke 1290r i recieved many error codes on the dash and the bike was stuck in limp mode. Thanks to this amazing little device all those error codes and lack of power (limited to 6k rpm on limp mode) were fixed. Instructions were easy to follow and install was very easy. This is a MUST if you remove your stock cat and servo cables

Simple well built product. Install note: I used pliers to keep servo in place when removing bolts.
