NEW! All of our SAS plates are now Thermocoated! This means that unlike other anodized plates, they will never fade from heat or UV and will look good for the lifetime of your motorcycle.
Recommended for the Adventure 1190/1290, the SAS Stage 2 kit contains everything you will need to remove the SAS system and has extra FI light eliminator dongles for the canister valve and SAS valve.
If you have an Adventure 990 or are interested in synchronizing your throttle bodies easily in the future after the installation of an SAS kit, see our Stage 3 kit with long lasting Tygon hose and extra throttle body synchronizing lines. Note: Removal of the throttle bodies is necessary if installing Stage 3 on Adventure 1190 or 1290 bikes. It's a few electrical connections and two hose clamps if the Rottweiler intake is also being installed at the same time.

I really wanted to reclaim the space under my seat where the stock canister sits for tool storage. This kit gave me everything I needed to remove the canister, the valves and most of the vacuum lines. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Good stuff!

After reading reviews and watching videos, I went for the Stage 2 SAS/Cannister Removal Kit for my 2018 1290 KTM SAS. Shipped to Australia (shipping was expensive, but this is not due to Rottweiler Performance, it's just expensive to ship from the US) and arrived quick enough. Fitting really was as easy as the videos showed and has cleaned up under the fuel tank and under the rear passenger seat.
Thanks Rotty Performance

The removal of the charcoal canister and SAS was an easy removal. No warning lights. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being the easiest, it was a 3. The only reason it was not rated easier was because of the alignment of KTM's alignment of the fuel tank housing and body panels. That is an issue with KTM not Rottweiler Performance. You can use plastic body tools to help with the reassembly. Two thumbs up. Now you can store the tool kit where it was designed to be stored.

Easy to install, no check engine light

Went ahead and got Stage 2 Kit while I had the bike apart for a valve adjustment.
Eliminated a pile of black spaghetti and finally have a spot for storage under back seat.
Still testing reassembled bike out, but no warning lights and all works as it should.

Very pleased with the Stage 2 kit, easy enough to install with the YouTube video, amazing how much SAS junk on engine and canister now gone leaves plenty of room under seat for rain gear and tools. The block off plates are well made and coated, nice clean look on engine. Will keep buying from Rottweiler.

The Stage 2 kit removes a bunch of mess from your LC8. Simplify your maintanence and Feild repair by getting rid of crap & weight that won’t serve you. Easy enough to install. Just do it, I waited longer than I should have.

Decided to try this kit while performing my Air filter service. Easy to install after watching the video link provided. Tool kit now fits under the seat like it should!

Install was very easy thanks to the video they have. I wish every manufacturer would do this

This is the third SAS/canister kit I've installed. One on my 06 950, my buddies 2010 990, and now my new 1090. It's very easy to do, everything fits perfectly and it gets rid of a lot of unneeded crap that really clutters up the bike. The best part is on the 1090, I can now store tools under the seat where they should be.

Easy install, nice to have the space under my seat for much needed storage.

Easy install on 1090R. Removed some weight as well as gave me some underseat storage for tool pouch/flat repair kit. With o2 sensor plugs, the bike shed 3lb 4oz.
I watched the install video and read the instructions and it was fairly straight forward and simple.

Simple, gets the job done. All components seem to be top quality and the instructional videos are helpful.

My bike is a 2016 special edition model KTM 1290 super Duke R.
I followed the install instructions on Utube & that went well.
When I got to the part related to charcoal canister & dongle install I found the canister is not there on this bike.
The connector under the right side cover has nothing installed.
I have removed the Cat and installed a Remus link pipe with the standard Akra slip on with dealer installed Akra map.
After that the backfire & flame from the pipe had to be seen to be believed.
Install of the SAS remove kit cured that. I installed the Rotweiller fueling dongles at the same time.
Bike is running really well with no fault codes and fueling feels spot on.
The bike was purchased from the dealer in Indonesia and was new when I bought it.
Can you advise on the charcoal canister not being installed and why there is no fault code with the connector being open.
As well there is a knurled plastic screw supplied in the SAS kit.
Please advise what that is for.
All in all a good thing with easy installation and a great result for how the engine runs.

I must say I'm very impressed with Rottweiler products. This is my first time purchasing with them and the service is second to none! The stuff comes well wrapped up and nothing was damaged during transit from the U.S.A to Ireland. The parts are top quality.
Next in line is the Rottweiler intake system for my 990. Thanks to all at Rottweiler and Happy Holidays!

Throttle response Drastically improved, Its a complete pain in the ass to replace the front cylinder block off plate, but have patience.... Like the instructions say, everyone gets it!

This product worked flawlessly on my 2016 Super Duke GT. Watched a video on the proceedure and performed the work in my garage at home with no problem. My bike now runs perfect without any popping through the exhaust and idles much smoother. The engine seems much crisper when I cracked throttle open. Thanks Rottweiler performance you guys rock.

making this change was an excellent choice. but, I did find both the online video and the pdf about 95% clear. i would include more verbage on the possibility of removing the rear components on the 1190 Adv R to remove the tubing. i didn't feel that good about yanking the tubing through from the back. removing the rear panels, though not absolutely necessary, may make the process a little smoother.

I had a small issue on my 1190-R a few weeks ago that required several small tools to fix. Of course, with the charcoal canister under the seat, I had no room for my tool set. After borrowing what I needed from trail colleagues I resolved the issue, and then immediately resolved to get rid of that huge can under the seat. The Rottweiler Stage 2 Canister Removal Kit was just what the doctor ordered. I watched the videos and went to work. It took me about four hours from start to finish and I can say that the job looks absolutely clean and professional. I don't notice any performance difference, but I now have space for my Cruz KTM tool set and the owners manual under the seat. Thanks to the Rottweiler team for making such a great kit.

This is not the only option out there, but Rottweiler has put it together in one package and made it easy to install. Okay with the exception of the block off plate on the right side of the motor, on the 990 Adventure which I have. But that's not their fault. That's just the bike. This kit combined with the new Rottweiler intake, has made my bike run cooler. I added an arrow exhaust to the mix and that helped even more. I called with a few questions and they straighten you right out which which is a bonus. I haven't got help like that, from ktmtwins for example, in the past. If you have half a brain and a tiny bit of mechanical ability, it's a no-brainer.
