We didn't sit on our butts after creating the #1 and only triple layer foam intake system with the easiest maintenance on the market. We took it 60 steps further by giving you the ability to swap pre-filters in under 60 seconds flat. This little device is what showed the ADV market that Rottweiler Performance was not a one trick pony. Put it this way, it actually installs itself! How? When you do the math, the time it takes to install it (about an hour) vs the time over your life that you will spend removing those 12 horrible bolts, fishing them out of the skid pan when dropped or lost, and the sheer aggravation taking that glove box off elicits, you will get back countless hours of time to enjoy your trip or just get filter maintenance done faster than you can get your helmet on.
This product carries a 1 year warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship.

Complete game changer--turns removing the toolbox to pull a tank or access the airbox (I still have the stock one) into a 2-second job. With no possibility of a dropped screw! Seriously well thought-out and incredibly useful mod. Should probably be the first thing any DIY-er does to his/her 990.

I should have installed the Snap Out years ago! Installation was a breeze. It's a very clever & simple solution for fast filter/airbox access.

WHY KTM did not do something like this originally I will never know! Awesome product!

So much easier to work on the bike, makes filter changes a joy.

This is a must have with the air filter assembly, it makes life really simple on dusty rides.

Now that the little stash box is removed with one quarter turn Dzus fastener, getting to the pre-filter and filter is literally a 30 second operation. Plus bonus points for allowing access to the carbs without pulling the tanks, and! checking valves should be as easy as pulling the carbs (1:30 now) and getting to the valve covers-

I've worked on bicycles for years, but not on motorcycles since high school (Yam RD-400). This was purchased to facilitate easier access to the air box I've also ordered. Instructions are clear and concise. Just waiting for the air box to arrive to complete the project! Braaaap.

The snap out installed pretty easily in the bike and the instructions are pretty straight forward to anyone that knows how to use a drill. Works like a charm and I cant see living without it. The only thing I think they can improve on with the kit is offering an option to purchase a Dzus screw driver, I believe I got mine for less than $10. You do need to push down quite hard to fasten the glovebox down, which is nice as it leads to a tight fit. That tight fit makes it hard to use a quarter to do it, and in my experience with Dzus fasteners using a normal flat head screw driver over a long time can degrade the fastener.

This kit rocks. Once installed, air filter changes are so much easier. The kit is top notch, perfectly fabricated and easy to install. I just installed one on my second 990 ADV because I can't believe KTM didn't think about this to begin with!

This makes so much sense and was engineered about as good as it can get.

Even if you are not going to use an open air filter element, the Snap Out is a must have! It is a little fiddly to install, instructions help here and I didn't have any until I looked for them on the website, but once in, it is MAGIC. Love it!!

I had a few minor issues with the installation process but nothing that couldn't be worked around with some creativity. Once it was on there it's solid, positively locks on, and removes very quickly and easily as described. It's already saved me from pulling all the glove box bolts out twice so the extra install time was well worth it. I would recommend it for any 950/990 owner that does their own service work.

Changed my life. I hated those stupid wood screws. I lost them so often I bought a 10 pack of replacements. My only schniggle is the fastener requires a tool, quarter, etc to remove. If it had a D ring like the intake it would be even easier to remove.

Great product, however installation instructions should be included. Figured it out though. (Instructions can be viewed from the downloads page)

These bikes are not the easiest machines to work on and the glovebox is a pain in the a**. Especially if you're forgetful and need to get back in there after you just buttoned it all up ;o)
This eliminates that PITA! High quality hardware. Sometimes I pull the glovebox off just because it's so easy now.

Nothing is more frustrating than a few dropped screws in between the cylinders which then get stuck on the starter or fall into the skid plate. Never Again! It works. It's easy to operate. Easy to install. If you own a 990 and don't have this, do yourself a favor. I did not think it would be as solid and easy to use as it is. It is every bet as solid and stable as the stock set-up. Rottweiler did not overstate/oversell the usefulness virtue of the snap-out. In fact, it's much better than their literature makes it sound, IMO. My greatest disappointment is I didn't sooner find this time saving, profanity alleviating device. Wonderful folks to work with as well.

Thank goodness for the glove box snap out bracket I just put on my KTM990. I had just installed it last night after an oil change. I was riding to work this morning and bike was running bad and stalling. I pulled over and realized I had left some foam inserted into the intake flutes while doing the work last evening. It only took me about 2 minutes on the side of the road to get to the intakes and remove the foam and re-install filter and glove box.

I purchased this along with the Intake System. Makes access a breeze and a must have for any 950.

Eliminates on of the hassles when working on one of these monsters. The time and money spent on this will pay you back many times over.

Installed this on my 2004 950 ADV. For the price, it's the best money I've spent on the bike. Glove box is now more secure than it was with the stock mounting system. Filter and tank access are now super convenient. Hardware quality is outstanding. It's a great product.

I honestly bought this as an afterthought since I was already doing the SAS, Intake system, and the Doghouse. This little gem's brilliant design and is matched only by it's simplicity and ease of use. I thought that was there no way it could hold the glovebox in place, especially on a rough dirt ride. Not only is the box secure, it can be removed in seconds. It also dramatically cuts down the time it takes to remove the tanks. Well worth it.

This is super cool. I am on project #3 with my 990 and after the purchase of the Air Filter System and the Dog House I could not pass up the most obvious investment, a way to get easy access to the heart of the bike. What a fantastic idea my glove box comes off with a half turn of a screw driver, you have got to be kidding. I got a friggin little trophy truck with quick access panels. Oh and I can get my filter out in 2 minutes.
