Add another 2 HP across the board and 6 HP up high, just by dropping in a second TVS (Tuned Velocity Stack) with your Stage 2 and up Rottweiler Intake System. Our intake kits from Stage 2 and up come complete with one velocity stack for the rear cylinder. The reason for this is that with the large foam element filter, a reduction in the height of the velocity stack was necessary, but only on the rear velocity stack. On a twin this is perfectly acceptable and actually quite common on some stock motorcycles for many reasons.
We didn't stop there. By reshaping the velocity stack with a 180 degree bell-mouth opening and altering the taper of the bore we were able to achieve smoother induction flow characteristics as well as velocity, optimizing the added flow volume of our intake systems. By adding a second TVS-80 velocity stack to the front cylinder, you will realize even more gains and smoother running engine over stock. At 20mm shorter you now have more options to play with and customize your power delivery.
For years now tuners have had great success by changing the lengths of the velocity stacks in the intake. Up until now there have been no options for the new model KTMs and now Rottweiler has beautifully machined these from 6061 T6 billet aluminum with a Type 2 black anodize and laser etched logo.

Il ne manquait le deuxième cornet car j’en avais commandé un seul,la premie fois.
Afin d’avoir ce regain de couple et puissance plus linéaire sur ma 1290 SDR de 2014, avoir une meilleure respiration, la rendre encore plus explosive

Installed two of these on my 1090 R with the air intake system and SAS stage two kit. They look bad ass, they sound bad ass, and offer up smooth power delivery. Very pleased. I wish they were visible.

Fitted this 80 stack on the front and a 40 on the rear and a great combination to get the best power range

Finally have a set now, looking forward to getting rid of the slightly astmathic feel.

Installed the velocity stack in the stock airbox while upgrading to high flow filter. Fit and finish was spot on and it looks great too...a shame you cannot see it. In conjunction with sas stage 2 kit and fueling dongles it really smoothed the throttle under 4k rpm. Very happy.

I don't own the stage one air box kit as I haven't decided on a exhaust system for my 1290 r.
instead I choose to try this TvS 80 stack together with a DNA filter and the results are amazing just as is .Smoother in the lower mid rpm ranges and stronger from 5k rpm on . The sound from the air box is delicious without being to loud or annoying. Gd job rottweiler !
Will very likely get a stage 1 air box in the near future

These stacks are awesome. The design and manufacturing quality is exceptional.
My only gripe is that they can't be seen!!

I opted for 2 velocity stacks instead of one and I made the rite choice. The engine pulls harder all around the power band and sounds like hell !

As with all Rottweilers products it is very well made. Cheap HP when added to the existing 80mm stack already installed. Keep up the good work Chris and the team.

I ended up with the 80mm stacks on both cylinders. The motor feels better at high RPMs and made more power at the top end.

After a lot or reading and research about which way to go with the intakes on my 1290 I decided to fit one of the 80mm velocity stacks to the rear cylinder as part of the upgrade. Quality of the part was very high with excellent finish and no machine marks and as you see on the web a logo on one side. The difference in feel and delivery from the motor with the stack fitted was exactly what I need, much smoother delivery down in the low RPMs and more torque.
