Racing Header - Adventure 1050-1290 (2014-2020)

I primarily purchased this to reduce the heat from the cat - I actually got a burn on my leg last year from the cat when wearing short boots and mesh pants. I didn't feel comfortable hanging my helmet on the peg when parked because it was so hot. The difference is amazing, it's so much cooler.
Fitting the pipe was pretty straightforward (I didn't have to move the radiator but I have a lot of tools to get into tight places). The sound with my Arrow muffler is great. I think it would be too loud with the dB killer removed.
I deducted one star because the rear cylinder pipe touched my KTM Powerparts skidplate mounting bolts and I had to shorten two bolts to get some clearance and tighten them up, The pipe is very close the skidplate itself but I haven't noticed any vibration when riding.

I live in an area where you can legally remove the cat. I put these pipes on to eliminate the cat and reduce the heat I was feeling. They are fantastic. The color, fit and finish are excellent. Heat has been greatly reduced. The ceramic coating matches the engine of the bike and looks almost like a stock setup. Unlike other reviews I did not have to remove the radiator mount to attach the front pipe. I combined this with a SC muffler, intake and dynotune setup and the performance changes were significant.

My primary reason for buying this exhaust was heat reduction. I kept the stock exhaust can and didn't have to change any of the bikes settings. I installed the exhaust and everything went well except where the exhaust connects to the front cylinder. The stock exhaust is oval shaped at this point to allow access to the mounting bolts just under the radiator. The Arrow exhaust is round and blocks access to the mounting bolt. I had to "learn" that the radiator mounting bolts can be loosened and the radiator pulled forward enough to access the bolts. Now that it's mounted I'm very happy with the look, sound and noticeable performance increase.
