BRP - KTM 790/890 Adventure Scotts Sub Mount Stabilizer Kit

I've never installed one of these Scott's stabilizer kits before, and needless to say, this complete BRP kit I bought from Rottweiler Performance was just what I needed for my 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R. It raised my bars, which gives me a much more upright position, when in the saddle, or if I'm standing up. I have mine installed with the red bushings and they seem to work just fine. I've only had my bike out on the freeway and streets and am looking forward to taking it trail riding here in the future.

Installed this kit with the Scott's damper on my 890 Adventure R. Quality is good, install was easy, and happy with the result. The highway stability with the damper cranked up is much better than stock, especially when running knobby tires. Bar height is good for me, I'm 5'10" with fairly long arms. Haven't ridden off-road yet, so can't speak with the sub mount bushing impact.

With the OEM on the streets with full power take off the handle bar jerks with this off road version it helped a lot
And in offroad it works amazingly i used the blue bushing cant tell the difference with the stock to be honest

Really easy to install, I like the height increase of my bars. I'm not sure if I can tell any difference that the bushing make vs stock but I have only used the red ones. The Scott's stabilizer is very nice vs stock. The front end feels much tighter, not wanting to wander at freeway speeds. All in all a great product.Spendy but well worth it

such solid quality and raises your bars in a healthy way (as apposed to the fuddy risers you see out there that will snap when you drop)

I wasted a lot of money on stupid stuff like the quick shifter that apparently already works in upshifts and all that jazz. $200 foot pegs? $150 headlight cover. Etc... well this was not a waste. If you’re up in the air about exhaust vs a Scott’s, I’d recommend Scott’s. Unless you like noise and arm fatigue.

From day one I noticed a small speed wobble over 80 mph. After swapping tires to MotoZ tractionator with tubes, the problem of course got worse. Not unbearable for short trips but anything over a day and it ain’t happening partner. Love my 790 R so much that I decided to give this a try. BOY AM I GLAD I DID. Can adjust it on the fly and kill any wandering on the highway. Also found out how much it helps in washy and river rock beds. You know the stuff where your bike feels like it could catch the wrong line and do something unpredictable like high side you? Lots of arm pump and trying to keep it true. This damper assisted with a lot of that and kept me from getting fatigued which would then further exacerbate the problem and increase the risk of wrecking. Overall, can’t be happier with the purchase.

Tips: if you already have a Scott’s off road, this is the same thing and you can swap it to this with the two bolts. Full kit comes with some custom 790 components and bolts right in. Easy install. Took 30 mins. If you want to go with the softer blue bushings use a vice and some different sized sockets to push the red ones out. Would recommend blue - still very firm and not much of a noticeable difference.
