This is a complete kit with extra hardware to remove the entire canister system. This includes a dongle to remove the canister valve and a choice of two ways of plugging the line that runs from the canister valve to the intake tract. Either use the plastic thumb screw in the rubber line or go directly to the head, remove the brass nipple and use the 6mm bolt and copper washer.

I always disliked these systems and always removed them, starting with my Buell Firebolt back in the days.
Removal is easy and well explained, you save some weight and the bike has less complications on it. I got to mention that on my first ride the check engine light came on anyways after about 20mins riding, but my dealer turned it off with the pc and so far it hasn't come back on. If it does come back on because of the dongle (which the dealer saw when he connected the bike), i will contact rottweiler perfomance and im sure they'll fix the issue. Untill then 5stars, does what it is advertised to do.

My 2016 was so simple I used the one screw plug in the hose that provides the vacuum instead of risking snapping off the brass barb on the intake. If your bike is old I think that is the safe option. Took 30 minutes to install the kit.

Bought this Kit to reduce weight. Installation Video was very helpful and easy to follow.

I removed the canister and valve. Plugging this resistor into the current receptacle eliminates the check engine light. A diagram on where to place the hose plugs would be nice.

Super easy system to eliminate the catch can. As always the great videos make the process simple, if not sell the product by themselves.

Installed this on my brand-new KTM Adventure 790 S to proactively avoid any carbon getting into the fuel (from the caniser). Don't really notice a difference in performance however, using the installation video it added slack to the fuel overflow and coolant/fuel water drain hoses allowing for running them away from the engine and exhaust headers (I zip-tied them to the right-hand fuel take cover bung-hold from the original fuel plug). Would recommend this install as it also drops some weight and hopefully makes the bike last longer.

This was probably the easiest part of my big project to remove the canister (also added the Full Intake System and Power Commander)

Super straight forward and easy to install.

Great product, easy install and fair price.

Installation was just as advertised. I had a couple of questions during the process and called the folks at Rottweiler; they were there to answer the call and provided the answers I needed; I highly recommend Rottweiler Performance, very pleasant to deal with!

Really liked the quality and way of install

Between the products and the instructions, this is an easy decision, everyone should get this product

Canisters= most useless thing a politician said we need on a motorcycle.

Easy to install and works perfectly. Youtube video is very helpful and a must watch.

Seems like a well thought out package but it could use some simple instructions on what each piece is. Also the KTM 1290 Superduke R needs 2 of the small bolts and washers if you want to plug the throttle bodies but only one is supplied. So instead of plugging those you have to use the larger bolt and plug the hose that goes to both which is fine just confusing because of the lack of instruction.

As I have come to expect from Rottweiler, this is an excellent product and is super easy to install. It takes about 10 minutes and is very straight forward.

This is a very simple process to get rid of the vapor canisters. Only negative is that once you find the instructions on line and print them out as I did, the instructions don't necessarily match what you are seeing on your KTM 690 since the instructions and photos are of a Husky 701. Similar bikes in many ways but different when it comes to this canister system. Using logic, I applied to the KTM what the instructions were directing concerning the Husky. It's really not that confusing. The photos threw me off at first.
Bike runs the same without these canisters.

Wish I could post pictures. If you remove all of the SAS system and just put a rubber cap over the throttle body vacuum line you remove 623 grams of weight from the bike. If you add a rapid bike evo it adds 536 grams.

Very simple installation. It took very little time to de-smog my KTM 690 motor thanks to the Rottweiler kit.

I wanted a bit of storage space on this bike that has very little. I bought the canister removal kit and installed it in 20 minutes. The instructions online are for an older Superduke R but the 2019 SDGT is kinda similar with only a few changes in panel removal.

Never have to worry about anything ordered from Rottweiler! Everything I've ordered from you guys is first rate and shipped quickly. Thanks much!

After 40 years of performing Canistorectomies on CA bikes that are used off-road, this is by far one of the cleanest and easiest to install kits. Highly recommend these guys!

I used the B dongle kit for canister removal on a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. It is a simple to use kit, and works as designed. Would have been nice if it included a barbed fitting to link the leftover return line hose to the fuel tank vent hose for more routing length.

Nice little kit, all the parts and pieces you would need plus an option to clean up some extra hoses. There were no instructions in the box, but they were available online. More tips on how to remove the canister, which was a pain, would be good.

Great kit with everything you need to get rid of the canister and valve. Don't forget to get a fuel line one way valve.
I saw a tip online to remove the canister. While lying on ground use socket extension with a wobbler to get at the back side of the canister screws. You have space between the radiator. It took me all of 3 minutes to remove this way. Get it you won't regret it.

Works great and made removal of the cannister a snap and no fi light. My only complaint is no instructions at all. That fully a YouTube video showed how to do it.

I appreciate RP's simple approach to ridding my 2017 690 Enduro of all the garbage Uncle Sam requires to be hung from that beautiful orange frame. As expected, the dongle kit had (almost) everything I needed to complete the job...
Missing: a set a suitable instructions. The only set available to guide me (for a 2017 690 Enduro) was actually for a Husqvarna 701, which is close but not the same process nor equipment. I had to defer to other youtube videos of questionable repute and my understanding of how SAS emissions systems work. I ultimately got the job done and everything performs flawlessly but a set of 690 specific instructions would have made everything better.
All in all, great product but I hope future purchases from RP come with better instructions and don't take three business days just to process & ship the order.

Except instructions. The kit come with everything except the info you need to take the cannister off. A quick google search showed the instructions. Remove the canister mounting bolts to the bracket instead of thfe canister bolts itself...A lot easier. Otherwise straight forward.

This is a 5-star product, but you have to ferret out the installation details from the documents and videos available online, which is confusing for a guy who has never had an emissions-equipped motorcycle. The price is easily worth the underseat space created for tool and spares storage. But it would be a kindness if Rottweiler would simply create a specific pdf for “ktm 1090 adventure r evap canister removal dongle”. As it is you must select “emissions removal - ktm adventure 1050 - 1290”, wade through the first 19 steps dealing with the SAS system removal, and take up the canister instructions on step 20. Fairly concise from that point, just a pain in the neck to get there flying blind. You really don’t know where you’re heading until you get there.

The reason I wanted to remove my evap canister on my 2018 1090 is to gain the space under my seat for my tool kit. The dongle is the key to gaining the space without tripping a malfunction warning in the computer. Removing the canister and purge valve and installing the dongle was straightforward. I didn’t even have to cut a hose. I took the portion of hose from the Y junction to the tank port on the canister and used it to replace the the hose from the evap port at the top of the tank. It was the perfect length to route along the other drain hoses. I used a few additional zip ties to keep it all tidy.
Great product!!

Great product, made deleting the charcoal canister a breeze. Highly recommend.

I didn’t want to go get the resistor and the shrink tube and the pins to make the thing myself, so this was the better option.
Along with the plastic screw in plug, made the canister removal a breeze.
Just remember to use a flex socket on an extension, under the radiator to get to the forward facing bolts on the cannister bracket, and this will be a 5 min job once the seat and side covers are off.

very easy install on my 2015 enduro R, kit come with 2 options on how to block off the vacuum port, plastic thumb screw into the hose or remove hose and brass nipple and place small bolt w/brass washer. no warnings works as advertised

Great product.

The kit was high quality and install wasn't a big deal. For my application (2017 KTM 690 Enduro R) there wasn't any specific how to videos to install this kit and none of them I found addressed where the thumb screw went (fuel tank vent hose). Other then that great addition to any ktm 690 well worth the money.
