Husqvarna's carbon composite subframes are a work of art, and unfortunately well known for failing by splitting at the upper attachment points during normal use, racing or crashes, leaving the rider with a race they can't finish or a ruined day. Not to mention the difficulty in warrantying the part.
Knowing this is a major issue, the factory race teams use specially modified OEM carbon reinforced subframes on all of their works bikes and these are not available to the public.
Rottweiler Performance is now bringing this special modification to our customers, ready to bolt on and ride.
First, we purchase brand new OEM subframes (these are not trade ins). Then the upper attachment points are hand prepped for the work. Then 5 full layers of carbon fiber (4 uni-directional and 1 exterior cross hatch) are hand laid and epoxied around the upper attachment points, forming a wrapped and bonded reinforcement that can dramatically reduce or eliminate the possibility of breakage in that area.
