Should have changed over a long time ago
These CCT's are absolutely amazing. Day and night difference from stock and hopefully they last a long time. I couldn't be happier.

Wow what a diffeence on a 9,000 mile 1190s
Decided to pop two of these into my 2016 1190S before the yearly Red River Scramble in Beattyville Kentucky.
Short answer: Love them!
I did the major service check at 9,000 miles since my bike was having trouble starting and it sounded like a bucket of bolts idling. Valves front and rear were in spec but the stock tensioners were just not having it apparently.
On initial startup with these new DT tensioners the bike was noticeably quieter and quicker to start than it has ever been.
Did about 1,000 hard miles down to the gorge, around the gorge and back home on pavement with hi revs and engine braking constantly after the instal.
No issues.
Would buy again in a heartbeat.

The best Cam Chain Tensioners
I recommend everyone to change the tensioners after adjusting the valve, because I had big problems, the original tensioners are very, very poor quality, more precisely, they almost do not work. And these tensioners are amazing, I recommend them to everyone !!

Easy trick for installing rear tensioner
Much better than screwing with the OE tensioners which can be difficult to set up without ruining them. Front tensioner is a snap, back tensioner needs a way to keep the inside part from sliding down before fully inserted. Trick: use a small, powerful magnet shaped like a hearing aid battery--works like a charm. Not sure where to get such a magnet but I'm a hoarder so I already had one.

On a KTM 350 EXC-F, you can't get the cam chain tensioner out without removing the engine bolts and prying the engine back. The Dirt Tracks tensioner comes apart, so you have plenty of room to install them one at a time. Rottweiler had great service and got the product out promptly.

One of the best mods you can do for your KTM engine!
I run the DT timing chain tensioners on both my 690 and 1290 SAS, cheap cost for the peace of mind!

Used on 2015 KTM 1190. Was doing valves at 26,000 miles and added these. They work nice. Just be warned they can be annoying to install in the rear cylinder as it tilts backwards and these slide to the extended position once past vertical. Thick grease or such worked well.

Time will tell but based on other reviews I amuse this will perform quite well!

2015 1190R, with 21k miles. Been noticing more rattling noises as of late and figured it was the stock adjusters. Sure enough, through these bad boys in and boom! Sounds like a new bike again!
