Billet Throttle Tube - Fly by Wire Models

I like to run a grip heater element and grips of my choice, not the hard crap that KTM fit. The stock plastic throttle tube is too short for some aftermarket grips and is thin and feels fragile.
This billet one is a beautiful bit of kit, the delrin inserts make the action feel slick and it's damn solid ! The only disappointment was that it reduces but doesn't eliminate the slack on the drive dogs and also floats side to side, it's livable but I may shim it.

Being the only aftermarket throttle tube I've found for the 890 Adventure other than grind off the stock grip I didn't have much choice. My main issue is that you have to be really careful in how you tighten down the throttle housing or this throttle tube will bind at WFO, and can be slow to return or get totally stuck. Once I got the housing just tight enough not to spin on the bars it worked but is still a little sluggish compared to stock. So far no whisky throttle incidents.
