When a plastic throttle tube breaks it causes your throttle to loose its ability to modulate the throttle effectively. Typically what happens is the tube breaks lengthwise or around its diameter causing the grip to them put pressure on the handlebar resulting in a stuck throttle. G2's billet throttles fixes this problem. Their throttle tubes take things one step further by incorporating Delrin sleeves located inside the tube which results in smoother throttle delivery.
