LEAD ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a capable and energetic person to join our team and help us keep up with the high demand for our in house manufactured and assembled products.

BASIC ASSEMBLY POSITION FUNCTIONS
• Small Parts Assembly
• Review Product build sheets and pull needed parts from inventory to complete each build.
• Communicate with Shipping and Production Manager to see what builds are a priority.
• Periodic visual and physical inventory counts
• Electrical wiring of plugs and other motorcycle components
• Basic Math Skills, Multiplying, Counting, Reading Tape Measure and use of scale
• Use of Basic hand tool: Drills, Box Cutters, Staple Gun, Bag Sealer, Crimpers etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of all Assemblies including multiple small parts
• Keep good quality control

MACHINING
• We have some great opportunities to become familiar with entry level CNC machining.
• Installation and removal of machined parts on mill.
• Switching out multiple tools and continuing machining process.
• Deburr and prep parts for assembly or powder coating

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Familiar with Electronics and Motorcycle parts is a plus but not required
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and parts assembly accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented and good organizations skills
• Must demonstrate good math skills
• Familiarity with QuickBooks. Trello and OneNote a Plus.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are seeking a customer support specialist to manage email, phone and walk in communications with existing customers, potential new customers and dealers involving technical support, product knowledge, product issue support, sales entries and returns. This involves multitasking between emails, live chat and phone support while using Quick Books to create orders or locate inventory reports.

A vibrant personality with a passion for motorsport that shines in everything they do is the key here. You must be skilled in dealing with multiple types of personalities in order to find a common bond with the customer, make them feel comfortable and not oversold, and help them find the direction that they are looking for by professionally answering their technical questions about our products and services while politely informing them of items that may benefit them depending on what model they own and what they are looking to get from the bike.

Knowledge of KTM brand motorcycles or the ability to learn quickly about them and the aftermarket parts available for them is regarded as a strong attribute for this job.

WHAT YOU WILL REPRESENT
• A customer support representative an be the first contact a customer will have with Rottweiler Performance. What this means is that you are often the initial experience that a potential customer will have with us. Poise, professionalism, respect and understanding is paramount. You are the front line of the company and the hub in which incoming information is dispersed through.

APTITUDE
• You must have at least a medium or better level of mechanical ability in order to understand the nature of what you will be representing. A good understanding of how the aftermarket items we cater to physically change the motorcycle and their benefits, both pros and cons is required. Phone calls can be technical in nature and a firm understanding of what you are discussing is paramount. You will be trained as well as provided study material.

THIS INCLUDES
• A good understanding of motorcycle engines and how they operate (Specifically KTM and Husqvarna).
• Knowledge of fuel injection, fuel mapping and how Dynojet mapping products and their peripherals work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to incoming phone calls, emails and LiveChats that include technical questions about Rottweiler Performance products and other aftermarket items that we carry.
• Help with technical assistance with installations.
• Forwarding any phone calls or emails to the correct department.
• Entertain walk in clients with their questions while being the face of Rottweiler Performance with charisma and professionalism.
• Help organize and process returns.
• Map Power Commander V and GET units (will train).

SHIPPER

We are looking for a capable and energetic person to help our growing shipping department to ensure accuracy and total customer satisfaction. You must possess strong communication skills with management, be ready to learn and understand the position well and become the last and very important link of a chain that insures the quality and accuracy that Rottweiler Performance is striving for.

Due to the nature of the various and unique products we sell, this is not the kind of job where a scanner will tell you the difference between parts. This is a job where you must familiarize yourself with the products that we make and sell and know the differences between similar looking but different parts. We will train you and spend the necessary time to help you with that understanding.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

SHIPPING:
• Process orders through our website and taken by the sales department by learning and using 'Ship Station' software and others
• Ensure that the shipments are accurate (Training will be provided)
• Locate and pack the merchandise so that the shipments reach their destination safely and preventing damage
• Create and affix shipping labels and distribute to the proper carrier (USPS, UPS)
• Process the documentation accurately for submission to accounting
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized at the days end
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by adherence to standard operating procedures

RECEIVING:
• Receive incoming shipments from vendors
• Check contents against any included documents and ensure accuracy
• Distribute the incoming product to the correct shelf location in the warehouse
• Process the documentation accurately and submit to accounting

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
• Minimum 2 years shipping experience
• Must be familiar with motorcycle parts and their functions. Specifically KTM V Twin line is a bonus.
• Experience with working in a high paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and part accuracy
• Higher level experience with shipping
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Detail oriented and organized
• Must demonstrate good math skills
• Familiar with Quickbooks, Bigcommerce and Webgility considered a plus.

CNC MACHINIST

We are considering options for one of three possible positions in our machine shop. When applying, please indicate what level you feel competent petitioning for. 99% of our parts are aluminum with some steel pieces here and there.

LEVEL 1: A competent and professional CNC operator who can follow our digitally recorded instructions to set up our machines with the correct cutting tools and fixtures, set work coordinate offsets and machine our in-house parts to supply to our assembly department.

LEVEL 2: All the above, in addition to the ability to program new parts and design and manufacture efficient fixtures to produce them in quantity.

LEVEL 3: All the above, in addition to the ability to work with our design team to create new part designs in solid CAD (preferably Fusion 360).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Communicates with the Operations Manager to set objectives/priorities.
• Follows the company Manufacturing Guides to set up and run machines.
• Set up and operation of CNC Mills/Lathes (Doosan, TRAK)
• Set up tools for the machining centers and turning centers.
• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.
• Inspect or measure using precision measuring instruments.
• Deburr and prep parts for assembly or finishing operations or oversee a subordinate.
• Observe good housekeeping practices by maintaining clean work areas.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
• Setting up CNC mills and lathes with tools, fixtures and setting work coordinates for existing programs.
• Experience with Finook machine controls.
• Familiarity with TRAK controls is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with mostly aluminum and some steels.
• Familiarity with motorcycle parts is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate good mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks. Trello and OneNote a Plus.
• Motivated Self Starter.
• 2 or more years of CNC machining experience
• Technical Degree or Certificate preferred.
