P3 Composites - Heat Shield - 790-901 ADV/Norden (2019-2023)

Quality is just fine, but requires modification to fit a 2024 model Norden Expedition. The third 02 sensor is in the way.

This part looks like a factory piece of kit. Whether or not it protects my shock from excess heat... I guess time will tell.

Essential piece of kit to keep heat off the shock. Fits well and looks amazing. My only gripe is it smells like burning plastic for a while after installing. Other than that no issues.

Very light, thin, and stiff material appears to be quality carbon fiber. Fastens with one bolt and a strip of adhesive Velcro making it simple to remove or adjust. Pick this over Camel mostly because they were sold out, but after install and handling it, this is worth the extra few bucks

The carbon fiber is highly effective for keeping the shock cool.
I tried the Camel metal shield first. Carbon fiber works better

In Europe only stainless steel heat shield for my 790 Adventure R are available. These are too heavy, too bulky and on top af all very ugly. This composite heat shield is nicely crafted an light weight. I made the purchase on a Wednesday and on Friday afternoon DHL delivered it in Europe. Super fast delivery. Thnx Rottweiler!
