Rottweiler Performance has taken a simplistic approach at allowing your GPS to be mounted practically in unison with the new variable position TFT display on the 2021+ 1290 Super Adventure. This texture coated aluminum bracket has been designed to allow practically any GPS or phone mount that utilizes the 'AMPS' bolt pattern to be mounted safely and securely. Along with the 'AMPS' bolt pattern, there are additional holes that allow the use of a RAM Ball Mount.
You can be Mr. Go-Go Gadget and utilize this mount as an additional attachment point or simply to get your GPS/Phone off of your handlebars for clean aesthetics.
NOTE: Adjustment may be limited with any device over the size of 6" x 3.5" Inches (152mm x 88mm). Removal of TFT display required for installation.

This is a perfect solution to stop your GOS being out in the weather like with the Ktm mount. Instructions would be nice but once I worked it out it was super simple. Great product.

I wanted to upgrade the flimsy KTM gps mount that mounts on the windshield brackets because it shakes a lot, even with a small Zumo 396. I ordered a new zumo xt 2 and knew it wouldn’t cut it because it’s a much bigger unit.
Problem is my 1290 SA is a 2018 and so I wasn’t sure the Rottweiler bracket would fit. Called Rottweiler and they said it would fit my bike so I ordered it. Come to find out there’s a heat sink on the back of the previous models 1290 SA so the new bracket would not fit… without some sort of adjustment. Took my demel tool and cut out just the right amount off the bracket and now it fits like a glove. I had the chance to field test it on a dirt outing and it performed beautifully. Highly recommend!

Installed on 2023 1290 SAR. Instructions would have been helpfull.
Watched another product video and figured it out. I used a Puig touring windshield, so unfortunatelly I could not mount my Garmin XT2 using the top mounting holes. I had to mount it on the second row which makes releasing my Garmin less intuitive. All and all, great product.

This review is for the GPS mount on a 22' 1290 SAS.
This is great product to mount your GPS, much more stable that the crosspiece type that attaches to the wind screen mount brackets. Those tend to vibrate with the play in the windscreen mechanism in comparison. I had the KTM one and removed it. It also stays in place not traveling up or down with the windscreen adjustments. Much better! The Rottweiler bracket is thick, solid and perfect for any GPS that uses or is adaptable to the AMPS bolt pattern. Once mounted the angle was about right for me (5'11" and in the seat).
For mounting a phone, in my case with a quad lock charging base it is not ideal. You cannot mount it centered without adapting on a cross piece because the bracket has material removed from the center, but you can still mount it off center. Also, if you do mount it with a quad lock base, at least in my case the phone would hit the wind screen if mounted vertical and/or would block part of the TFT display with the phone. It works fine mounted in the horizontal position. As others have said the Touratech bracket instructions apply here with this mount, you simply remove the 2 screws and 1 pivot bolt that supports the TFT screen from the side with a T30 torx and unplug the TFT, then attach the bracket and reinstall, a 15-minute job. Do put a rag around the area of the TFT just in case you drop any of the hardware to keep it from disappearing into another dimension.

would give 5 stars if there were instructions with torque specs. I used Touratech instructions.

Nice sold mount for your GPS. Attaches to the back of the KTM display rather than the windscreen like the OEM KTM GPS mount. Much better solution as the OEM is a bit floppy.
I couldn't find any install instructions here on Rottweiler but the install is similar Touratech's GPS mount so can use their instructions.

Beat mount IMO. I like the it’s stationary when wind screen is adjusted
